Bereits im Jahr 2024 hat dentognostics sich dem Forschungsprojekt des M.A.R.S.-Teams (Mars Analog Research Simulation) der UCLouvain f\u00fcr dessen bevorstehende Mission angeschlossen. Aufgrund der hohen Relevanz des Themas wurden wir auch f\u00fcr 2025 eingeladen, die M.A.R.S.-Simulationsstudie im April mit unserer In-vitro-Diagnostik zu begleiten.<\/span><\/p>\n

Denn: Kerngesunde Z\u00e4hne aller Crew-Mitglieder sind essenziell f\u00fcr das Gelingen der bis zu zwei Jahre dauernden Mars-Missionen. Astronauten sind auf ihren Expeditionen ins All einer 700-fach h\u00f6heren kosmischen Strahlenbelastung ausgesetzt als auf der Erde. In Kombination mit der Schwerelosigkeit, dem mit der Mission verbundenen Stress und der Ern\u00e4hrung haben Astronauten ein signifikant h\u00f6heres Risiko f\u00fcr einen verst\u00e4rkten Kollagenabbau, der w\u00e4hrend der lang andauernden Mars-Missionen zu Knochen- und Zahnverlust f\u00fchren kann.<\/span><\/p>\n

Getestet wurde mit dem Biomarker aMMP-8 im vergangenen Jahr die internationale Atlas-Crew 2024 w\u00e4hrend ihrer zweiw\u00f6chigen Expedition im Raumfahrt-Trainingscamp in Utah (USA). Der leicht anzuwendende Speicheltest gibt \u00fcber ein Messger\u00e4t innerhalb weniger Minuten Auskunft \u00fcber den Kollagenstatus, der bei Zahnfleischerkrankungen und Stress erh\u00f6ht ist, da Stress sich auf das Immunsystem des Menschen auswirkt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Studie im April 2025 tr\u00e4gt den Titel \u201eLongevity Effects of Substitution of a Collagen-Vitamin Micronutrition Formular (CollagenSafe\u00ae<\/span>) for the reduction of progressive Collagen Breakdown Activity (aMMP-8) of Astronauts in a simulated M.A.R.S. Mission environment\u201c. Gro\u00dfes Thema ist hierbei: Wie kann der Kollagenabbau bei den Astronauten im All gehemmt werden? Daf\u00fcr wird er erneut mit aMMP-8 kontrolliert und durch Substitution einer spezifischen Mikron\u00e4hrstoff-Formulierung (CollagenSafe\u00ae) gehemmt, wodurch die Regeneration der Astronauten gef\u00f6rdert wird.<\/p>\n

Die Weltraumforschung ist f\u00fcr die Longevity-Forschung daher so wertvoll, weil die Astronauten durch die Einfl\u00fcsse, denen sie sich im All aussetzen, ihren Kollagen-Abbau und damit ihre Alterung akzelerieren. Gelingt es uns, diese im Weltraum positiv zu beeinflussen, k\u00f6nnen wir von den Erkenntnissen auf der Erde erst recht profitieren.<\/p>\n
